Hour of Code We will be participating in an Hour of Code this year during the week of December 5th. I have asked some of our teachers to participate in a planning meetings brainstorm how Blythewood Academy will participate in this national effort to get our students committed to coding activities during this week. The meeting turned into me stopping teachers in the hall to get some ideas. Mr. Patterson and Mrs. Parker- Powell assisted me in developing a framework for us to promote coding during this week, the exact day TBA. We will be having a Blythewood Academy's Day of Code Please sign - up for your activity here. Here are some videos to introduce the Hour of Code. It can get us into the spirit of this national coding effort to expose children to Coding and the Computer Science field. Thanks! Green |
