How It's Done Is Important The teaching profession is critical to our community and world. If done with the right mindset, you will find that it has the power to inspire the next President of the United States or develop the mind that will end world hunger. With assuming that responsibility, it's certainly not a profession for the faint of heart. As a teacher and now coach, I understand the importance of making the right impact on students and it's imperative we "work smarter and not harder." Through collaboration and sharing of ideas it creates a stronger chance that we will be successful in meeting the diverse needs of our students. I know that wasn't very techie, however, it is a very important part of the puzzle that governs why it's important that we choose the best tools for our practice, which includes technology. Mastering this art involves using the best tool to support our students in developing the 4 cs - critical thinking, communication, creating, and collaborating skills (nea.org). Instead of sharing some great articles, I share with you a list of your peers along with one or two skills that they posses that directly supports Richland 2 instructional practices and our modified Blended/ Flipped classroom efforts. This list is limited, as I only put down one or 2 items for each but it's a start. I hope you don't mind, I just think our fellow teachers are a perfect beginning to designing personalized learning for our students. Take this list and go collaborate!
